​MAUI BEACH VILLA RENTALS
KAANAPALI BEACH is world famous.  Annually it makes lists of the top five beaches in the world.  It is composed of fine sand, without sharp rocks or shells, so walking on the beach barefoot in the surf is very enjoyable.  The southern part of Kaanapali beach can get quite crowded, but the northern part, where Maui Kaanapali Villas is located, is much quieter, with plenty of room to relax.  Some parts of this beach have lava rocks on the beach and in the water, a vestige of Maui's long-ago origins.  Sharp coral can grow on the rocks, which makes swimming there unpleasant.  The beach in front of Maui Kaanapali Villas is nothing but pure, fine, velvety sand.  The Kaanapali Resort is the first resort developed on Maui, so when it was developed they had their choice of all of Maui's beaches for their location.  They picked the best beach, and it remains so today.
  MAUI KAANAPALI VILLAS (or MKV as it is known locally) was developed to be the Maui Hilton, so you know that it has all the amenities that you would expect in a luxury beach resort.  There is a restaurant where you can enjoy fine dining or a casual meal by the beach.  There is a massage spa to help you unwind and relax to the tempo of "Maui Time".  There are beach cabanas to rent, and plenty of lounge chairs for acquiring that perfect Maui tan.  If you feel like exercise there is a fitness room with both machines and free weights, but many people   opt to go for a walk or run on the three-mile long beach walk or on the beach itself.   If you want to stay in touch with the world, MKV offers free wired internet access in every room, as well as free wireless throughout each room and also in public areas like the pool, restaurant, and lobby.  Free  coffee is served in the lobby from 6-9 AM, where you can meet other guests to visit and compare notes or simply grab your coffee to go and  take it back to your room or out to the beach.  Once a week there are free mai-tai parties with live music to help you feel in tune with the Maui experience. 
​TWO HEATED POOLS make swimming safe and enjoyable.  The main pool has a "kiddie pool" section where the water is only about 12 inches deep.  It is separated from the shallow end of the "grown-ups" pool by a wall that comes up to the surface of the water, and there is a bench on the adults' side so that parents can sit in the water and cool off their entire body - not just their feet - while their toddlers splash happily and safely just across the little wall and within easy reach.
EACH POOL has a Jacuzzi where you can relax and enjoy being on Maui as the hydrojets give you a gentle massage.  We particularly like to use the hot tubs in the evening, looking up at the palm trees and the stars.
THREE BARBEQUE AREAS, each with two large professional barbeque units set into granite counters, provide for easy cooking for a couple, a family, or a large group.  We barbeque for most meals - beef, pork, chicken, and fish.  Cooking outdoors is fun and easy, and the barbeque areas are a great place to meet other visitors to compare notes on things to see and do.

The Kaanapali Trolley is a fun, open air ride to the other resorts in the Kaanapali area, as well as the shops and restaurants of charming Whaler's Village.  The trolley makes 20 round trips per day, visiting all the other resorts, so if you want to try one of the many restaurants or bars with entertainment, all you have to do is consult your trolley schedule and hop on!  Kids particularly love the trolley, and when friends of ours visit who have young children, those children all want to ride the trolley.
