AMBIANCE: This condo is only a few steps from the beach. Because it is on the second floor, there are magnificent ocean views from the lanai - during whale season we often see whales while we eat lunch or dinner. We eat all our meals on the lanai when we stay here. From the lanai you also have an excellent view of the pool, which means that parents can relax in the shade on the lanai with a cool drink while keeping an eye on their kids in the pool. The bedroom is wall-to-wall carpet, while the rest of the condo is tile floors, cooling our bare feet. The cathedral ceilings keep the apartment cool, and the three ceiling fans stir the air just enough to make it comfortable even on warmer days.
This condo has been recently renovated. All of the furniture has been replaced with new furniture in a tropical motif, to put you in the Maui mood. The bedroom features two new King-sized beds with the Westin Heavenly mattress and box springs. Between the living room and bedroom are French doors custom made of African mahogany with frosted glass panels etched in a bamboo design.
